

After more than a decade, dancehall legend Bounty Killer has regained his US visa, paving the way for his return to the US stage.
The veteran deejay, whose real name is Rodney Pryce, shared the news in a heartfelt statement on Tuesday, expressing gratitude to his supporters, management team, and the US Consulate General.
"Fifteen years ago, I lost my US visa and have been waiting patiently to have it restored ever since. A few days ago, I finally had it restored," Bounty Killer stated.
He attributed his achievement to divine intervention, acknowledging God as the source of his blessings. Additionally, he paid tribute to his late mother, Ms. Ivey, expressing his appreciation for her guidance and support.
"May she rest in peace. God bless you, Mama," he added.
Bounty Killer also extended special thanks to his manager, Paul ‘Bankey’ Giscombe, commending his unwavering dedication throughout the challenging process.
"Bankey, you never lost hope, even when we faced numerous rejections. Thank you, Bankey."
The entertainer further expressed gratitude to the US Consulate General for their support, as well as the embassy staff for their courteous service during the visa application process.
"I am forever grateful for all efforts in resolving my issue. Thanks also to the staff members at the embassy who consistently greeted me with warm smiles and provided exceptional service."
Concluding his statement, Bounty Killer thanked his family, friends, and fans for their enduring support.
"You all have been a source of inspiration, and I am forever grateful for your unwavering commitment to me and the music."
