Thirty-nine-year-old Gary Grant, otherwise called ‘Big Brief’, a taxi operator of Struan district in Manchester, has been charged with wounding with intent following an incident in Christiana, Manchester on Tuesday, December 24.
Reports are that about 10:30 pm, Grant and another man had a dispute, during which he allegedly used a ratchet knife to stab the man in his upper body.
The police were summoned and the injured man was taken to the hospital, where he was admitted for treatment.
Grant was later accosted and subsequently charged.
His court date is being finalised.
