Children’s Advocate says death of 2 y/o mowed down in Clarendon marks tragic start to Child Month

Children’s Advocate Diahann Gordon Harrison says the tragic death of a 2- year -old girl who was mowed down in Clarendon on Saturday is a sad start to Child Month.
Police say young Kimberly Burrell of Rules Pen in May Pen, Clarendon was accidentally run over by a relative who was learning to drive.
Kimberly was rushed to hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Mrs. Gordon Harrison told IRIE FM News that the incident is not only sad but sobering.
She noted that the incident has highlighted the need for individuals to be careful when children are in their presence.
The Children’s Advocate said the incident is also a lesson and adults must always assume that something could go wrong.
