Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Christopher Tufton, says the Community-Arranged Response Effort (CARE) Fund is not a slush fund.
He made the comment at the launch ceremony yesterday.
The Fund aims to promote community-driven solutions for better health and wellness outcomes across the country.
Dr. Tufton said this fund should not be considered as just money to give away, as it is designed to achieve a specific objective.
He stated that measures are in place to protect the initiative’s reputation and guarantee adherence to accountability standards.
