Lawmen assigned to the St Andrew Central division have charged 27-year-old Marcus Morgan, otherwise called ‘Chops,’ a construction worker of Rum Lane Kingston 
CSO, with robbery with aggravation following an incident on Hagley Park Road, Kingston 10, on Friday, March 5.

He was held 9 months later during a police operation.

Reports indicate that Morgan and two other persons entered a business establishment posing as customers, one of whom brandished a firearm and held up and bound both proprietors before taking several items ranging from laptop computers, tablets, and cellular phones valued at approximately $500,000 before escaping in the area.

A report was made, and on Thursday, December 19, Morgan was seen along Maxfield Avenue and was pointed out to the police by one of the complainants.

He was accosted and taken into custody.

A search of his premises was conducted, and cellular phones belonging to the business 
establishment were recovered.
