
Detectives assigned to the Stolen Motor Vehicle Unit at the Counter Terrorism
and Organized Crime Investigation Branch (C-TOC) have recovered three additional stolen motor vehicles and taken two individuals into custody following continued investigations stemming from a recent operation in Kingston and St Catherine between Tuesday, March 11 and
Wednesday, March 12.
The additional vehicles recovered are: One white 2012 Nissan AD Wagon, one 2015 grey Nissan and Nissan AD Wagon.
The police in a release said the most recent recovery has increased the total number of stolen vehicles retrieved to ten (10).
Seven of these vehicles were recovered during operations conducted between Friday, March 7, and Saturday, March 8.
The individuals apprehended in this operation are part of a stolen motor
vehicle ring operating in the Corporate Area and St. Catherine.
The two suspects who have been taken into custody are currently under investigation. This brings the total number of individuals detained in connection with the vehicle recovery to seven.
