Curfew imposed in Manchester extended

The curfew that has been imposed in sections of Manchester have been extended.

The curfew began at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday, March 23 and will remain in effect until 7:10 pm, Tuesday, March 25.

Williamsfield police area
The boundaries of the curfew are:
North: East along an imaginary line from Royal Flat Road, to an area of the Bartley Town community.

East: South along an imaginary line, from the northern boundary at Bartley Town community, to an area of vegetation in the Hillside community. 

South: Westerly along an imaginary line, from an area of vegetation at the eastern boundary at the Hillside community, to an area of vegetation in the Rent Land Street community. 

West: Northerly along an imaginary line, from the southern boundary at the Rent Land 
community to the northern border of Royal 

Christiana police area
The boundaries of the Christiana Police area are as follows:

North: East along an imaginary line from Craighead, continuing 10km to an area of vegetation at Silent Hill in the parish.

East: South along an imaginary line, continuing for 1.5km from the northern boundary to an area of vegetation at the Silent Hill community.

South: Westerly along an imaginary line from the eastern boundary, continuing for 10km to a section of the main road at Craighead.

West: Northerly along an imaginary line from the southern boundary, continuing for 1km from the northern boundary (Bordered by Troy district, Trelawny).

During the hours of the curfew, persons within the boundaries of the curfew are required to 
remain indoors unless otherwise authorized by the person in charge of enforcing the curfew.
