The St. James police are probing a double murder, following the discovery of two bodies in Norwood.
Commanding Officer for St. James, Senior Superintendent Eron Samuels says residents reported hearing gun shots last night and the bodies were found this morning at an abandoned premises.
He states that a curfew will be imposed in the area.
SSP Samuels spoke with reporters earlier today from the community.
Norwood is one of two communities in St. James that are Zones of Special Operations (ZOZOs).
SSP Samuels notes that there has not been a murder in that zone in recent months, and says measures will be stepped up to ensure there is no recurrence.
