The National Land Agency (NLA) says customer service functions have been restored at the agency’s Kingston offices following the recent service outage.
This as the agency also noted that the restoration of its systems is progressing in phases.
To facilitate the processing of delayed conveyancing, registration and valuation matters affected by the disruption, the NLA has implemented an immediate contingency framework.
It states that applications submitted prior to and during the outage are being processed under an expedited workflow.
Additionally, the agency further notes that technical and administrative teams will operate extended weekend shifts over the coming weeks to address the backlog and return processing timelines to normal within the shortest possible timeframe.
In the meantime, the agency underscores that while core services are being restored, its WhatsApp, live web chat and NLA Connect platforms remain unavailable.
It clarifies that customers may continue to access services through the agency’s telephone lines, email channels and walk-in offices.
The NLA also outlines that some delays may be experienced as restoration efforts continue.
It states that further updates regarding service availability and processing schedules will be provided through the agency’s official website and social media platforms.
