Denbigh show youth farmer award named in honour of the late Lenworth Fulton

An award offered to youth farmers has been named in honour of former president of the Jamaica Agricultural Society Lenworth Fulton.

The announcement was made today by agriculture minister Floyd Green while paying tribute at Fulton’s funeral service.

Fulton died last month following a period of illness.

Green noted that Jamaica’s agriculture sector is stronger now because of Fulton’s contributions over the years.

He said Fulton’s legacy will endure through the award for top youth farmer at annual Denbigh shows.
