Digicel is advising customers that an act of vandalism, where fibre cables were intentionally cut, has been confirmed and is currently impacting both residential and business services for Digicel customers.

The company said its technical teams are working tirelessly to restore services as quickly as possible.

“We deeply regret the inconvenience this has caused and understand how critical these services are to you,” Digicel said in a statement, noting that its customer service system has also been impacted.

In the meantime, the company is encouraging customers to stay informed via its social media channels, WhatsApp, and SMS for ongoing updates.

“We appreciate your patience and will continue to provide timely information as restoration efforts progress,” Digicel said. “Thank you for your understanding”.
