The Jamaican entertainment industry is again in mourning, following the death of one more of its extraordinary talents.
Veteran drummer, Lowell Fillmore “Sly” Dunbar, reportedly passed away at his home this morning.
He was 73-years-old.
Speaking with IRIE FM News, renowned Media and Entertainment Consultant, Clyde Mckenzie, who is also a longtime friend of the late drummer, described his death as devastating.
He also lauded Sly’s innovative spirit and contribution to the industry.
Lowell Fillmore “Sly” Dunbar’s passing comes a week after the death of legendary guitarist Stephen “Cat” Coore.
