
Detectives in St Ann have charged a woman with wounding with intent following an incident in the parish on Saturday, March 15.
Charged is 43-year-old Shelly Ann Francis, a sanitation worker of Onel Jail Lane, St Ann’s Bay.
Reports from the St. Ann’s Bay police are that at about 11:00 pm, Francis allegedly stabbed the complainant—her co-worker—in the neck with a knife after she accused him of being involved with their boss.
The co-worker was assisted to the hospital, where he was treated and admitted in stable condition.
Francis was arrested and subsequently charged on Friday, March 21.
Her court date is being arranged.
