St. Elizabeth was the hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa, with damage estimated at $2.3 billion.
Finance Minister Fayval Williams made the disclosure in parliament today.
She cited data from the World Bank and Inter-American Development Bank’s Global Rapid Post Disaster Damage Estimation report.
Mrs. Williams said St. Elizabeth was followed by St. James and Westmoreland.
