A fisherman was shot and killed by unknown assailant(s) in Old Harbour Bay, St Catherine on Sunday.
The deceased is 23-year-old Andre Williams, otherwise called 'Curry Cat', of East Bay, Old Harbour Bay.
Reports are that about 2:30 pm, Williams was at the market on the fishing beach in the area when loud explosions were heard. He later found suffering from gunshot wounds.
Williams was assisted to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No motive has yet been established for the gun attack, but the St Catherine South police are probing the development.
