Four females died in a collision along the Font Hill main Road in St Elizabeth yesterday.
The deceased are aged 30, 17, 12 and 10.
Reports are that about 5:30 pm, the four were travelling in a Toyota Voxy , when the driver swerved right and into the path of a freightliner motor truck causing a head on collision.
The driver and passengers were taken to hospital with multiple injuries and were pronounced dead.
Vice Chairman of the National Road safety Council , Dr. Lucien Jones says there are a number of questions to be answered relating to safe roads, speeding among other issues.
Dr Jones is concerned about fatalities for the rest of the year , if certain regulations are not implemented.
