Prime Minister, Dr. Andrew Holness says the government is hoping to roll out within a month a coupon or card system for Jamaicans who need hurricane relief supplies.
Dr. Holness said that the system will replace the current mass package distribution.
Speaking during a tour of Accompong in St. Elizabeth yesterday, Dr. Holness said the plan is to have the new system operational in most communities within 3 to 4 weeks.
He said efforts will also be made to get shops in Accompong, back up and running.
