The Government will roll out the voucher system for Hurricane Melissa relief by the new year.
The initiative, announced by Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness, aims to ensure fairness and equality in the distribution of aid.
Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Ambassador Rocky Meade, gave an update on the initiative, during the sitting of parliament’s Public Administration and Appropriations Committee on Wednesday.
He said the Ministry of Labour and Social Security is working out the details of the system.
