GraceKennedy Group CEO Don Wehby.
GraceKennedy Limited (GK) has announced that Group CEO Don Wehby will be taking a temporary leave of absence to focus on his health, effective October 9, 2024.
In the meantime, GK Group CFO Andrew Messado will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Company, and Wehby will remain involved at the strategic level, the company advised via a notice on the Jamaica Stock Exchange.
In a message to his team, Wehby said: "was a difficult decision, but I believe it is what's best for both me and GraceKennedy, at this time."
He sought to assure staff and stakeholders there would be no disruption to the Group's operations during his absence.
