The Trelawny police have charged two men with possession of prohibited weapon, use of prohibited weapon to commit a felony, and robbery with aggravation following an incident at Coral Spring, Trelawny on Tuesday, March 18.

Charged are:

  • 62-year-old Dennis Lee, a truck driver and businessman of Stewart Castle in Trelawny.
  • 60-year-old Kenneth Earle, a driver of Carey Park in Trelawny

Reports from the Duncans police are that between 11:04 am and 12:10 pm, a man was at a spring relaxing in the water, when Lee and Earle allegedly approached him and threatened to post nude pictures of him on social media if he did not get out of the water.

The man refused and Lee reportedly used his licensed firearm to threaten him.

According to reports, the man then attempted to use his cellular phone to call the police, but the instrument was taken from him.

The man then reportedly fled the scene and later reported the matter to the police.

Lee and Earle were subsequently arrested and charged.

Their court date is being finalised.
