Jamaica’s Keri-Ann Greenwood claims first runner-up at Miss Global

Keri-Ann Greenwood, the reigning Miss Universe Jamaica East 2024, has made history by securing the first runner-up position at Miss Global 2025.

Showcasing grace, confidence, and undeniable charisma, she stood proudly among contestants from around the world at the grand finale held at MCC Hall, The Mall Lifestore Ngamwongwan in Nonthaburi, Thailand.

With over 60 contestants from across the world, the Miss Global 2025 pageant, held from February 24 to March 9, showcased extraordinary beauty, intelligence, and resilience under the theme: "Empower. Embrace. Embody: Empower Women. Embrace Cultures. Embody the Beauty Within."

The other ladies in the top three of Miss Global 2025 – Nhu Van Nguyen Dinh (Vietnam) and 2nd Runner-Up – Ediris Rivera Berrios (Puerto Rico).

For Greenwood, this moment is the culmination of years of self-development and unwavering determination. She has embodied this philosophy every step of the way—from being crowned Miss Universe Jamaica East 2024, to finishing as second runner-up at the Miss Universe Jamaica National Finals, and now, standing proudly as first runner-up at Miss Global 2025, Miss Universe Jamaica East said in a statement.

Led by Franchise Holder, Jermane Blair, the Miss Jamaica East team worked tirelessly to ensure she was not only pageant-ready but equipped with the confidence, skills, and poise to excel on a global stage.

"Keri-Ann’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. She embraced the challenge and gave it everything she had. Her resilience and dedication carried her to the top. This journey is a testament to her ability, and we could not be prouder. This is just the beginning of greater things for her," said Blair.

Miss Universe Jamaica National Director, Karl Williams also commended Greenwood on the achievement.
