DJ AG is more than just a deejay — he’s a force of change, merging music, community and using his platform to make real impact.
Dubbed the people’s champion, AG Online streams to over 20m viewers on Tik Tok and Instagram with his open format deejay sets in the streets of London.
With the support of UK heavyweights such as Skepta, and Idris Elba, to name a few, DJ AG has broken barriers in the streaming deejay scene.
After recently having dancehall giants such as Daddy Freddy, Cham, Mr Vegas and Kranium on his platform he decided to set up a session in Jamaica.
‘I’m excited to be coming back to Jamaica; It’s been 14 years since I came back to the country of my parents, I can’t wait to touch down and get started. I know there is so much talent in the country, and I’m keen to see as many artist as possible’.
DJ AG Online’s mission is to support grassroots artists as well as to connect with people from all walks of life, especially those facing challenges like disabilities, substance abuse and alcoholism.
He will be collaborating with Community Youth Jamaica and other organisations that have their feet on the ground in Jamaica for community outreach.
The first live stream took place between 4 and 8 pm at Constant Spring Arcade on Saturday, March 22nd, and Monday March 24th.
