Kingston East Police probing suspected case of murder/suicide involving husband and wife

A husband and wife are dead in what police believe is a case of murder-suicide.

They have been identified as 53-year-old paralegal Morvine Thompson Palmer and 49-year-old Mason Peat Palmer, both of Dorado Drive, Harbour View in Kingston.

Reports are that the incident took place sometime between 3:30 P.M. on Sunday and 10:30 this morning at their home.

Reports are that on Sunday afternoon, residents reportedly heard the two arguing.

Their relatives alerted the police today, after attempts to contact them proved futile.

The police visited the home and found both victims outside the house.

It’s reported that Mrs. Palmer Thomson was found on her back and blood was seen coming from her neck, while Mr. Palmer was seen face down beside her clutching several raw electrical wires.

Both were taken to the Kingston Public Hospital, where death was confirmed.

Post-mortem examinations will be conducted.
