A man has been taken into custody after he was found in the company of a missing child in Clarendon yesterday.
The six-year-old who was reported missing was found in the company of the man yesterday afternoon.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that at about 2:30 P.M., the girl was last seen at school wearing a blue uniform, white tie, a pair of brown shoes and socks.
Councillor for the Hayes Division in Clarendon Scean Barnswelll who reportedly apprehended the suspect gave his account of what transpired.
He said he saw the man and the child walking along a roadway.
Councillor Barnswell said he was assisted by other passing motorists to apprehend the suspect and contact the police.
