Man shot by cops in Spalding, Clarendon
There was high drama in sections of Spalding, Clarendon on Saturday where a man was shot during a reported confrontation with a team of police officers.
Reports are that lawmen were on duty in the town when the man was seen approaching one of the JCF members with a piece of board in his hand.
A video of the incident was posted on the internet and showed the police pulling his service pistol and opening fire hitting the man in his arm and other parts of his body.
The man was seen walking away from the area with blood on his shirt.
Sources from the area claim the man has since been admitted to hospital.
Spaldings is an area in Jamaica, located in Clarendon.
Despite being located in Clarendon, the Manchester police force is responsible for the city that falls at the border of both parishes.
