Twenty-eight-year-old Michael Ennis, a labourer of Manning’s Hill district in Manchester, has been charged with smoking ganja in a public place following an incident on main street in May Pen, Clarendon on Monday, November 11.
Reports are that law enforcers were conducting foot patrol along the main street when Ennis was observed with a cigar in his mouth and smoke coming from his nostrils.
He was approached by the law enforcers and informed of the offence.
The law enforcers then escorted Ennis to the local police station, where he was officially charged.
A court date is being finalised for him.
