Manchester police report that all 3 gangs that operated in parish are now dormant

The Manchester police are reporting that all 3 gangs that operated in the parish are now dormant.

The gangs were based in the hotspot areas of Grey Ground, Greenvale and Barnstable.

Head of the division Superintendent Carey Duncan said the sustained reduction in crime is due to strategic operations of the police in the parish.

He was addressing the Lay Magistrates’ Association of Jamaica Manchester Chapter’s Half-yearly Meeting yesterday.
