The meeting yesterday between the Government and the Jamaica Teachers’ Association (JTA), was reportedly constructive.
JTA President Mark Malabver said several issues, including proper compensation, were discussed with representatives from the ministries of education and finance.
Mr Malabver said the Finance Ministry is expected to send an offer letter to the JTA by next weekend.
