More than 100 people have been murdered in Jamaica since the start of the year.
According to data from the Jamaica Constabulary Force, 105 people were killed up to Saturday, March 7.
That is 41 fewer than the 146 recorded in the same period last year.
All divisions except Kingston Central and St. Andrew North have recorded murders so far.
St. James recorded the highest with 16, followed by St. Andrew South with 11.
Portland had the least with 1.
Meanwhile, the JCF is reporting that cases of rape decreased by 3.
Robberies declined by 16 and break-ins by 31.
