To date, Masicka has released two full-length studio albums.
It seems that dancehall star Masicka is about to release a new album. The project will be the follow-up to Generation of Kings which was released in December 2023.
On Thursday, the '20 Matic' deejay tweeted "New project December 4th. Best work yet," the post read.
Hours earlier, Masicka released the video for one of his latest songs, Whites. Directed by Ruppi/Now or Never, the song was produced by Attomatic Records/Dan Sky Records/1 Syde Records.
Last week, the video for Who Fi Stop We was released and it has to date racked up more than 695,000 views on YouTube. Today, it ranks at #3 on YouTube's Trending for Music list.
To date, Masicka has released two full-length studio albums. 438, which was released in December 2022 opened with 2,844 album equivalent units and debuted at #2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart. To date, it has sold more than 50,000 equivalent album units.
Generation of Kings, the follow-up album, peaked at #2 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart and at #14 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums chart.
The 17-track set which features collaborations with Lila Ike, Popcaan, Fridayy, Dexta Daps, Spice and Chronic Law among others, sold 3,500 equivalent album units in its first week of release.
Masicka's annual birthday celebration will head to Toronto, Canada on Monday, December 2.
