Opposition reaffirms importance of church in maintaining fabric of society

The opposition Peoples National Party has reaffirmed the importance of the church in maintaining the fabric of society.
According to Member of Parliament for St. Catherine south, Fitz Jackson for many years, the church has offered selfless service to the betterment of society.
Speaking at the 20th staging of the Heal the Family, Heal the Nation Day of Prayer service, yesterday, Mr Jackson noted that through spiritual teaching and other areas, the church has positively impacted the nation.
He said this year’s theme ‘Reunite and Build the Family with Love and Forgiveness’ is both timely and deeply meaningful.
