Over 20 Haitians held in Harbour View, Kingston yesterday are to be deported.
The police said the group was taken into custody following an incident at a premises in Harbour View.
Reports indicate that around 5:30 AM., officers were investigating claims of illicit activity in the area when the premises was searched.
The 23 Haitians, consisting of 11 women, 9 men and 3 boys were found during the operation.
They were processed by the Kingston Eastern Divisional Intelligence Unit and have since been handed over to the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) office for further investigations.
