Minister of Labour and Social Security Pearnel Charles Jr, a familiar face in Jamaican public life, comes from a legacy of service as the son of retired politician Pearnel Charles Sr.

As the youngest of three siblings, Pearnel Jr fondly recalls the magic of Christmas as a child, when his older sisters would return home from university for the holidays.

“Seeing loved ones I haven’t seen for a long time—that’s my favourite Christmas memory,” he shared, reflecting on the warmth and joy those reunions brought to his family.
