Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness has again assured, that donations received to assist with hurricane recovery efforts, are managed and guided by the highest standards of accountability.

He said these include material and cash donations.

The prime minister was speaking during a recent visit to the forward operating base in St. Elizabeth.

The base was set up within 40 hours of the hurricane and serves as the main support hub for the parish, with nearly 300 personnel from the Jamaica Defence Force and partner forces working on the ground.

Dr. Holness explained that all donated items are carefully received, stored, and distributed using strict tracking systems.
