Jamaica’s national football team, the Reggae Boyz, will begin their 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup campaign against St Vincent and the Grenadines in the preliminary round, scheduled during the FIFA Match Window in March.

The Reggae Boyz secured their spot in the Gold Cup preliminaries by advancing to the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League. However, their Nations League journey ended on Monday, with a 4-2 second-leg loss to the United States at CITYPARK in St. Louis, Missouri, sealing a 5-2 aggregate defeat.

The preliminary stage of the Gold Cup features seven home-and-away matchups. Winners from each pairing will advance to the tournament's group stage. Matchups were determined by Concacaf rankings, with the top-ranked teams facing the lowest-ranked.

Jamaica, ranked second among the 14 teams after the November Concacaf Nations League matches, earned the right to face the 13th-ranked team, which is St Vincent and the Grenadines.
