Sabrina Dockery of Lacovia High and Gary Card of Wolmer’s Boys claimed the Under-20 100m titles on the opening day of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) Carifta Trials at GC Foster College in Spanish Town on Friday.

Dockery, 18, who was easily the fastest qualifier in the preliminary round with a time of 10.32 seconds, proved too strong for Shanoya Douglas of Muschette High School in the final. She made a strong start and fended off a persistent challenge from Douglas to win in 11.30 seconds.
