Six people to face the court for driving with too much alcohol in their system over Easter holiday

At least six people are to face the courts soon after they were reportedly found to be driving with too much alcohol in their system, over the Easter Holiday weekend.
Their arrests stemmed from the establishment of breath-testing checkpoints by the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (P-STEB).
The checkpoints were set up near party hotspots as part of efforts to reduce road fatalities over the period.
Three people were killed in road crashes between Easter Friday and Monday.
Providing IRIE FM News with an update on the initiative, Head of P-STEB, Senior Superintendent (SSP) Lloyd Darby said the six arrests were made in St. Ann.
SSP Darby said those arrested will have their driver’s licences suspended if they are convicted.
