Some 1.1 million motor vehicle registrations have now been processed online under the Government’s Digital Transformation Programme.
Efficiency, Innovation and Digital Transformation Minister, Audrey Marks provided the update yesterday during her contribution to the Sectoral Debate in Parliament.
She noted that the system is intended to improve efficiency and reduce in-person visits to tax offices.
The initiative, being carried out with Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) allows motorists to receive renewal reminders and complete registration renewals online.
