St. Mary Municipal Corporation to investigate reports of illegal night club operating at Gayle Market

The St. Mary Municipal Corporation will be moving to curb illicit activities taking place at the Gayle Market following reports that a night club is being operated at the facility.
Speaking at today’s meeting of the corporation Port Maria Mayor, Fitzroy Wilson, said he has received reports that some tenants have been using a bar in the market as a go-go club, mainly on Friday nights.
He said the illegal operation is affecting vendors conducting legitimate business.
Speaking with IRIE FM News following the meeting, Mayor Wilson stressed that order must return to the space.
He said directives have been given that the matter be addressed.
