St Mary taxi operator booked for alleged ‘off route’ rape

Forty-one-year-old Casewell Marsh, otherwise called ‘Dove-Dove’, a taxi operator of Grants Town, St Mary, has been charged with rape following an alleged incident in Port Maria town, St Mary back in January, 2024.

Reports from the Port Maria police are that a woman was leaving work and called Marsh to pick her up in his motor vehicle.

Upon reaching a point on her journey, Marsh reportedly detoured and then sexually assaulted the woman.

He was recently apprehended by the police, and was charged on Tuesday, September 24.

Preparations for his court date are under way.
