Detectives assigned to the Kingston Eastern Police Division have charged 33- year-old farm store operator of Rock Jam Road, Kingston
The man identified as David Taylor otherwise called 'Pelpa' was charged with two counts of wounding with intent, shooting with intent, illegal possession of firearm and illegal possession of ammunition in relation to an incident that occurred on Sheffield Road, in the parish on Monday, September 18, 2023.
Reports from the Rollington Town police are that at about 4:45 pm, Taylor alighted from a Honda Fit motorcar and shot a man and a teenage boy, age 15.
Another 16-year-old boy who was in their company was also chased and shot at by Taylor; however, he escaped unhurt.
A report was made to the police and the man and the 15-year-old boy were taken to hospital were admittedfor treatment.
Following an investigation into the matter, Taylor was arrested. He was charged after he was interviewed in the presence of his attorney.
His court date has not been finalised.
