Teen among 4 held, cops probe murder of delivery man in St Mary

A teenager is among four persons detained as police probe the murder of a man at his home in Tank Lane, Oracabessa in St Mary on Tuesday night.

The deceased is 46-year-old delivery man Arthneil Saunders, popularly known as 'Neil' or 'Neily'.

Reports are that sometime after 11pm on Tuesday, Saunders had arrived home, and was shot as he was about to exit his black Toyota Mark X motorcar. He was pronounced dead at hospital.

Following preliminary investigations, four people, including the juvenile and one of his close female relatives, were detained by law enforcers.

In the aftermath of the gun murder, the St Mary police announced a curfew in Tank Lane and Marson Town in the Oracabessa area on Wednesday. It is set to end at 6pm on Friday.
