Several charges have been laid against three hotel workers following an incident at a Trelawny resort between November 2025 and January 2026.

Charged are 25-year-old Anthony Binns of Lewis, St. Ann; 29-year-old Alex Reid of Montego Bay; St. James, and 31-year-old Scillion Fuller of Linstead, St. Catherine.

Reports from the Falmouth police are that during the passage of Hurricane Melissa, the three men were given permission to remain at the resort and were given key cards to access their respective rooms.

After the hurricane, the men were instructed to hand over the keys; however, police say Reid did not do so.

Further allegations are that he conspired with Lewis and fuller and duplicated the key, which they later used to gain entry to the room.

It is reported that they stole US$2000 from guests.

The matter was reported to the police, and all three men were arrested and charged with computer fraud, and simple larceny.
