Traffic police step up efforts to prevent road crashes & fatalities this Easter holiday

The police’s public safety and traffic enforcement branch says there will be speed and breath testing check points near crash and party hot spots during the Easter weekend.
This as lawmen increase their efforts to reduce fatalities on the nation’s thoroughfares.
Speaking with Irie F M News, head of PSTEB Senior Superintendent Lloyd Darby pointed out that holiday periods have the potential to be problematic so the necessary enforcement measures will be undertaken.
He warned that motorists who disobey the road rules will be prosecuted.
