Following the strong Cold Front which impacted the island over the past few days, Jamaicans should now expect cloudy conditions with periods of heavy showers and thunderstorms starting early tomorrow.
According to the Met Office, this forecast is due to a trough across the western Caribbean, which is expected to move across the island late tonight and linger through to Thursday.
Sections of most parishes, especially those in the northern parts of the island are projected to be impacted.
Additionally, another Cold front is expected to impact the island on Friday.
Although weaker than the system currently influencing the weather, persons should expect cool temperatures and strong gusty winds Friday and into the weekend especially across northern parishes.
Fishers and other marine interests are advised to exercise extreme caution during this period as sea conditions are expected to deteriorate in the vicinity of showers and thunderstorms on Wednesday and Thursday and due to strong gusty winds beginning Friday.
