‘Twinnie’ faces multiple firearm related charges

Police attached to the Manchester Police Division have charged 34-year-old Kemar Levy otherwise called ‘Twinnie’, a chef of Tavares Garden, Kingston 11 with Wounding With Intent, Possession of Prohibited Weapon, Unauthorized Possession of Ammunition and Using a Firearm to Commit a Felonyfollowing an incident in the parish on Sunday, December 18, 2022.

Reports from the Mandeville Police are that at about 4:50 am, Levy who was armed with a handgun approached a man who had just exited his vehicle.

Levy opened gunfire in the direction of the man, hitting him to his upper body. The man returned to his vehicle and managed to elude Levy who continued to fire shots in the direction of the moving vehicle.

A report was made to the police and Levy was later apprehended and subsequently charged following an identification parade.

He is to appear before the Manchester Parish Court on January 15.
