The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is pleased to announce a series of exciting partnership opportunities for qualified individuals and entities.

"This initiative seeks collaboration to enhance the visitor experience at the world-famous Dunn's River Falls &  Park (DRFP) in Ocho Rios, St Ann, a release from the UDC stated.

These partnerships aim to elevate the park's recreational and commercial offerings, solidifying its position as a premier destination
within Jamaica's tourism industry.

Operation of Adventure Activities: An upcoming call for proposals will invite
concepts for the operation of adventure activities at Dunn's River Falls & Park.

Operation of adventure activities will be accommodated at sections of the iconic Belmont property; this opportunity allows qualified operators to develop innovative and engaging attractions that complement the park's natural splendour and thrilling experiences.

Establishment of Water-Based Activities: An additional opportunity will be presented for the establishment of water-based activities at DRFP. This initiative offers significant potential to create unforgettable aquatic experiences for park visitors.

Management of Retail Spaces: Economic opportunities are also available through
the management of three strategically located logo shops and kiosks within DRFP, totalling
462 square feet.

These retail spaces present an ideal platform for the sale of unique souvenirs, artisanal gifts, personalized keepsakes, and custom-branded merchandise celebrating Jamaica's rich culture and the park's natural beauty.

Application Process: Prospective applicants are encouraged to review the requirements outlined in the Information Memorandum Document (IMD).

This document will be available for download starting January 20, 2025, on the UDC's website at udcja.com/tenders-rfps-and-leases or can be obtained in person at the UDC office located at 12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston.

A non-refundable fee of $2,500 is required to secure a copy of the IMD.

The Urban Development Corporation remains dedicated to fostering sustainable  development and investment in Jamaica through innovative initiatives that enhance the country's economic and social landscape.

Dunn's River Falls & Park exemplifies this
mission, offering unparalleled natural beauty and world-class experiences for both local
residents and international visitors.
