Residents of Waltham Park in Kingston have expressed concern about improperly disposed garbage which has taken over sections of sidewalks and is spilling onto roadways, in the community.
According to one resident who asked not to be named, the National Solid Waste Management Authority, (NSWMA) is doing its part.
She claimed that other residents and outsiders are responsible for the pile up.
She said in some instances even dead animals are disposed of in the space which has a clear no dumping sign.
She explained that as soon as the NSWMA collects the waste, people dump additional garbage in the area.
Meanwhile, another resident is calling for persons who dump garbage in the areas to be prosecuted.
