Water Minister Matthew Samuda has committed that the National Water Commission (NWC) will resolve what he termed the multiple issues with pensions for employees at the organization.
Speaking at a recent ceremony to honour employees, he noted that the NWC has an aging employee base.
He promised that the Commission stands ready to resolve the issues fairly.
He said that in addition to honouring employees for their long service, the board of the Commission will stage a series of events by parish to honour their families for allowing them to support the Jamaican national development effort.
