“We must be good stewards of Jamaica’s man-made and natural assets.
That was the comment from Prime Minister Dr. Andrew Holness, at the official launch of the Reforestation, Ecological Enhancement, and Landscape Framework (RE-LEAF) at the Lowe River Primary and Infant School in Trelawny on Wednesday.
Dr. Holness stressed that Jamaica’s natural resources are critical to the nation’s resilience.
He noted that steps are being taken to boost the recovery of the country’s forests.
The Prime Minister stressed that the recovery effort is a collaborative venture among stakeholders.
